It's Your Birthday!

Hello!  You are looking at my second card for the A Blog Named Hero Challenge.

I stamped the Hero Arts background stamp, Tropical Foliage Bold Print, with embossing ink on water color paper.  I then applied gold embossing powder around the edges and white in the center.  I heat embossed the background and the sentiment. The leftover white and gold embossing powder mixed together and that is what I used on the sentiment. I smooshed some Distress Inks in green on my craft mat, spritzed the ink with water and smooshed my embossed piece in the ink.  I dried the wet ink with my heat tool and added more layers of ink until I was happy with the coverage.
