I used Honey Bee stamps Spring Honey Buddies and Happy Everything on my card.

I stamped the adorable bunny and camera using some masking so it looks like the bunny is holding the camera.  I than water colored the bunny using Distress Inks.  I built the Chibitronic circuit so the camera and hearts light up.  I added a clear Honey Bee Dew Drop to look like the camer lens.

I made the Chibi light circuit on a small piece of paper that I adhered behind the focal point of my card using foam tape.  To light up the card the recipient presses on the heart outline image.

Thank you for stopping by.  Your next stop on the hop is the creative Lesley Oman.

Rainbow Hooray

Hello.  Busy week at our house with the kids going back to school.  I was able to squeeze in some card making time this afternoon.  I made this card with inspiration from the latest Online Card Classes.

I used a technique taught on day two by Carissa Wiley.  She used a rainbow of ink pads to stamp her sentiment I used Tombow markers instead.  For this technique its easiest to do with a stamp positioning tool such as a MISTI.  I colored the letters one at a time, after stamping I would wipe off the colour and colour the next letter with a different color.  Once finished the rainbow stamping I left the stamp in my MISTI and stamped over the enitire word again with Versamark and embossed it with iridescent embossing powder.  The stamps and dies I used are from Honey Bee stamps.  I embellished the card with gold polka dot washi tape and Studio Katia sequins.  I always enjoy Online Card Classes they are well done and informative.

Hooray It's Your Day!

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a card for A Blog Named Hero, the theme for this month is watercolouring and we are collaborating with Honey Bee Stamps.
I love the die I used from Honey Bee Stamps for the "Hooray", the way it cuts the letters in detail and then a shadow for behind the word is a fun detail.    I started my card by using masking to stamp and emboss the flowers (Hero Arts).

I used pink and yellow to watercolour the flowers.  Once the flowers were dry I painted the background.  For the background I used wet on wet watercolouring and I used a paper towel to blot up some of the colour when it got too bright so I could add some layers of colour.  Once the watercolouring was dry I used a stamp positioning tool to stamp the sentiment.  I like sentiment sets like the one I used from Honey Bee Stamps because it allows me to personalize the sentiment.  I did cut apart one sentiment stamp that had two words so that I could use just one of the words.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Please see A Blog Named Hero to see what the Design Team created this month and to link to the challenge.
