Birthday Bows

This card is inspired by the Altenew Academy course "Clean and Simple Boutique Cards" taught by Jennifer Rzasa.  I used techniques taught in Lesson 2 for creating stamped backgrounds.

I used Altenews Bells and Bows stamp set to make this card.  I stamped the first bow on watercolor paper using a water proof ink in the center of the card stock.  I then stamped the rest of the bows choosing were to place them based on the first bow and how much space I liked between them.  I added some color using watercolors.  I lean toward clean and simple layered card design.  For this card I used a velum layer for the sentiment and felt the black layer helped make the card pop and tied it together.
Thanks again for stopping by.
