Sparkly Tropical Toucans

Materials:
- Chibitronic Tropical Lights and Starter Kit
- Newton's Nook Stamps "Toucan Party"
- Copic Marker friendly ink pad and cardstock
- Various Copic Markers
- Circle Dies
- coloured card stock for layering
- foam tape and cellophane tape
- glossy accents
-sequins and Wink of Stella for embelishing

Step 1.  Stamp and colour images (I used Copics for my colouring).  Diecut with a circle die.
Step 2.  Use a craft pick to poke holes in the centers of 3 flowers.  Place front focal piece ontop of smaller circle to use for building light circuit.  Mark through holes in front where to place lights.
Step 3.  Draw out circuit.  Plan where to put battery.
Step 4.  Make and test circuit.  Make the battery holder using a folded piece of cardstock, adhere it to the paper holding the circuit before making the circuit.  Fold close battery cover when circuit is complete and adhere closed with schotch tape.  cut a piece of cardstock to slide between battery and circuit tape in the battery holder, the recipient pulls this out to complete the circuit and turn on the lights.

Step 6.  Adhere double layers of foam tape around circuit.
Step 5.  Adhere card together and embellish. I used Glossy Accents on the birds beaks, Wink of Stella on the Flowers and a dot Glaze pen on one birds eye.
