Something I would like to see is fireflies, I have lived in the Southern U.S for a few years now and gone camping several times but have not seen them yet. This is a fun cads as I used Chibitronics to make the little fireflies light up. This month at A Blog Named Hero we are collaborating with the Chibitronics to create fun interactive projects for our June theme"interactive".

I stamped the jar and fireflies from Hero Arts on water colour paper then painted a background with purple, blue and black water colors. I used my heat gun to speed up the drying of the background then painted the fireflies. Once the stamped piece was dry I die cut it and added little holes with a piercing tool to the bugs where I wanted the chibi lighst to shine the brightest. I colored the latch on the jar lid with a silver marker and added Nuvo drops to the bugs. But before I coated the bugs with Nuvo drops I lined the watercolor piece up with the cardstock I layered underneath it and marked the through the holes with a mechanical pencil. By marking on the cardstock layer it would make it easier for me to place my chibi lights. I created my circuit and placed foam tape on it to adhere the water coloured piece on top.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you are inspired to join the June challenge at A Blog Named Hero.
