For the unconventional materials challenge we are supposed to purchase something from a hardware store or use an item from the garage that costs less than $10.00. I used a small scrap of chicken wire we had in the garage.
I planned to apply embossing paste to cardstock than press the chicken wire into it and make an imprint or pattern in the embossing paste. This did not work, maybe if I used more embossing paste. I used some pliers to curl under the pokey ends of the wire than stapled it to my cardstock piece once the embossing paste had dried.
When I went to assemble the card I made for the bridal challenge I put the foam adhesive on the front of the diecut piece, it tore when I tried to remove it. I cut off the damaged part and made another smaller shaker out of it. The hello die cut was sitting in a bowl of leftover pieces from other projects, my daughter was poking around in it and found it for me. I added some Wink of Stella to the Hello sentiment to pretty it up a bit.
For the final challenge I'm sharing my favorite card that I made for Stamp-A-Faire. I had fun painting the stripes on this card.
Lots of inspiration at Stamp-A-Faire, still more projects I would like to try.
Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, these are all fabulous! I love how you used the chicken wire on your card -- what a great idea!
