Wishing Joy

Hi!  Here with a card for the challenge at A Blog Named Hero.

I used Hero Arts Reactive Inks in Pool Party and Blue Hawaii for the background.  I smooshed the inks on a craft mat then softened the colors by spritzing them with some white paint spray.

I swiped a piece of watercolor paper through the ink.  I applied the color in layers by drying in between applications with my heat tool.

Once the background was dry I diecut Joy from it (Hero Arts Joy Stamp and Cut).  I also stamped the wishing you sentiment above the negative diecut.  I then diecut joy three more times from white cardstock.  I stacked the Joy's together adhering between the layers with liquid glue.
For the snowflakes I used the Snowflake Fancy Edge Die.  I embossed a couple layers of the Sparkling Sea Embossing Powder on the Snowflakes.

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you share your work at our current challenge.
