My card today is for the A Blog Named Hero Challenge.
For this challenge the inspiration possibilities are endless! So many crafter's share their work online. To inspire myself I went to the Hero Arts Blog. I found this striking card by Michelle Short and thought there were so many stamp sets that I could use with her layout. For my card I used the Hero Arts Chameleon Stamp and Cut set.
I colored the chameleon and branch with Copic Markers. To add some scaly looking texture to the Chameleon I wet a cloth with some Copic blending solution and dabbed the image with it.
The background was created on a piece of smooth bristol cardstock. I blended three colors of Hero Arts Reactive Inks (Blue Hawaii, Pool Party and Blue Raspberry). I sprinkled the blended inks with some water and blotted it dry with a paper towel to make the splotches.
