Hello! Time for a new challenge at A Blog Named Hero. The theme is "Love Is In the Air" and there is a pretty color pallet provided for our inspiration.
I started out by blending Distress Oxide inks on smooth Bristol paper in the challenge colors. I then stamped the large background image (Hero Arts Heart Pattern Bold Prints Cling Stamp) in Versamark. I applied silver Pearl Ex powder to the stamped hearts. I lightly misted the background with water in an attempt to set the powder. The powder still came off when I touched it so I sprayed it with a matte sealant and let it dry over night.
I haven't used pearl ex powder in a long time. I love how shimmery and shiny this card turned out.
