I would love it if we got gorgeous fall colours here in Texas. Instead to remind me its fall I decorate my house and make fall themed cards. The colour palette for this months challenge at A Blog Named Hero is wonderful autumnal inspiration.
I made two versions of my card. I used five shades of distress ink (matched to the challenge colours0 to make an ink smooshed background. I then stamped the moon image in grey on the smooshed background. The sentiment is heat embossed. I felt the wispy clouds of the diecut were getting lost against the dark background so I traced them with a glitter gel pen.
This was a quick fun card to make so I decided to make a new one but tried a couple changes. I made the ink smooshed background lighter and embossed the moon in white.
