Wonderful Day

The challenge theme at A Blog Named Hero is Monochromatic.
I blended three shades of purple Distress Ink on smooth Bristol paper. I placed a stencil over top then used a babywipe to rub off some of the ink through the stencil.  The paper did fray a bit in some places next time I would apply less pressure when removing the ink with a baby wipe.  I used a stamp positioner (I use a Misti) to stamp the images.  I added some shimmer to the fountain with a clear sparkle gel pen.  The wonderful sentiment I diecut 4 times and adhered together to add dimension.  I also added a layer of fun foam behind the Bristol paper to add some more dimension.  The final touch was clear Nuvo drops on the fountain and the diecut.
