Hello! I'm here today with a card I made inspired by the My Favorite Things 2017 Card Design Superstar challenge. I'm entering this in the Coloring Virtuoso category.
I started out by embossing the flower images with rose gold embossing powder on watercolour cardstock. I struggled a bit to find a colour combo I liked with the rose gold and found googling rose gold colour combos helpful. I then stamped and embossed the leaves. Where the leaves overlapped the flowers I used a small paintbrush to remove the embossing powder before heating it. I painted using Holbein and Daniel Smith watercolours. Once the watercoloring was dry I splattered it with clean water and added embossing powder, the embossing powder sticks to water.
I diecut the hugs die 4 times glued the layers together and embossed the bottoms of the letters.
