Happy Little Stampers May Watercolour Challenge

Hello!  Time for a new challenge at Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge.

I embossed the Happy Little Stampers butterfly from the set Especially For You, in clear on watercolor paper.  I than spritzed the paper with water and sprinkled on Crimson Brusho powder, I moved the colour around a bit with a paint brush so it would fill the stamped images.  Once the background was dry I ironed off the clear embossing powder.  I placed clean printer paper over the water colored piece and ran a hot dry iron over it which melts the embossing powder and it is absorbed by the clean paper.  Doing this technique removes the shiny clean embossing powder.

I used a distressing tool on the edge of the water color paper. Then I stamped a striped background on turquoise card stock adhered it to the card base.  Then adhered fun foam to the water colored piece before adhering it to the card.  The sentiment is stamped with black Versafine Ink and embossed in clear.  Finally I applied some sparkle Nuvo drops in Ruby (they look dark in the photo but they are nice and red and sparkly in person).

Thanks for stopping by.
