Hello. I made this bookmark using a water color technique shared by Krisina Werner a few weeks ago. Kristina Werner used water color paints to make a dip dyed look. I used the same paints (Gansai Tambai) and colors as Kristina for my bookmark. Once the water coloring was dry I embossed the sentiment and hearts (Concord and Ninth) with platinum colored embossing powder (Ranger). The bookmark was a bit warped and I wanted it sturdier so I adhered the water colored piece to a piece of purple card stock. I am joining the February challenge at
Where Creativity Meets C9.
Thanks for stopping by.
Such a gorgeous bookmark, Kelly! Those colors are so dramatic and make a statement that really matches the sentiment!
