Hello! Still time to join the challenge at A Blog Named Hero. The theme for our January challenge is "New To Me".

For my card I used new to me stamps from Right at Home, a new to me background stamp from Hero Arts and a new technique. A while a go Michelle Short did a quest post for Jennifer McGuire featuring no line coloring. Michelle Short demonstrated using a light table in her You Tube video. I have been wanting to try this technique for awhile and thought the sketched look of the coffee mugs from Right at Home stamp set Cup Of Joy would work well. First I stamped the images on a scrap of paper using Copic marker friendly ink overlapping the images and not bothering to use masking. I than adhered a piece of Copic marker friendly card stock on top of my stamped piece with temporary adhesive. When placed on the light box the stamped images showed through.
I than traced the first image I wanted to color with the lightest Copic Marker, remembering to trace the lines so the smaller mug appeared in front of the larger one. I removed the image from the light box and colored it returning it to trace the next image.
I die cut the hello using a Hero Arts die several times from white card stock and one cut from card stock colored with one of the blue Copic markers I used. I stamped the Hero Arts Once my card was adhered together I used some Nuvo drops. On the inside of my card I used the sentiment from Right at Home stamps set How Have You Bean.
Thank you Right at Home for collaborating with us at A Blog Named Hero this month.

I hope you are inspired to create something new to you and share it with us at A Blog Named Hero.
