Waffle Flower August Challenge

I am very happy to be a guest designer with the August Waffle Flower Challenge.  I used the Waffle Flower "Little Mermaid" stamps I won from the challenge a couple months ago.  I was inspired by the seaside decor on the mantle in the inspiration photograph and the colors.  For my background I sponged two shades of Distress Inks, splattered it with water, stamped the bubbles and painted the bubbles with water to lighten the color in them.  After the background dried I spritzed it a couple times with Shimmer Spritz.  The monkeys and starfish are colored with copics, fussy cut than I added some Spectrum Noir glitter and a little glossy accents.  I adhered the sentiment panel and critters to the background before adding sequins and Nuvo glitter.  Displaying WFC August Inspiration.jpg

Thanks for stopping by.
