Hi again! I have had the Tim Holtz "Crazy Bird" stamps for awhile but this weekend was my first time to actually use them. Whenever I use Tim Holtz brand stamps my husband is always amazed at the quality and detail of the image, I like to use them for cards I make him but this card is a little to pink this time. I used Zig Real Brush pens to watercolor my bunny-bird and added some glossy accents to the eyes and beak. The card front felt full to me so I added the sentiment "Happy Easter" on the inside.
I wanted to join Darnell's Never Before Used Schtuff challenge. First time using the Crazy Bird stamps and the embossing folder I used on the purple card stock.

Also sharing my card at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "Touchy Feely". I added texture with the dry embossing, ribbon and glossy accents. I also added texture by distressing the edges of the watercolor card stock.

Thanks for stopping by have a great day.

Love your mix of canvas-like watercolor paper and dry embossing! So very creative, Kelly! The Crazy Bird looks absolutely adorable! And yeah, the details on this stamp are amazing! So glad that you join the fun over Simon Says Stamp Wednesday “Touchy Feely” Challenge!
ReplyDeleteOh, well done with your first outing of the karazy birds, Kelly! I love this design! I had them for months before I used them, too. I HAD to have them and then they intimidated me, so thank you for the cool inspiration! And thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #6! I apologize for coming by so late to thank you. Enjoy your day - the first day of spring, whoop!! Hugs, Darnell
