Water Colored Winter Scene

My card today was inspired by the wintry photo on the Sparkle and Shine Challenge blog.

Our Challenge Badge

I stamped the images on water color card stock and than covered them with masking fluid.  When the masking fluid was dry I used two shades of distress ink and some water mixed with Pearl Ex to paint the sky.  Once the water coloring was dry I removed the masking fluid from images so I could watercolor them.  When it was all dry I added some Pico Embellisher to create some accumulated snow on the birdhouse and branch.  In my shaker I included sequins, glitter and flower soft.
We are having a beautiful winter day here.  Spent the morning with my family at the zoo enjoying the sunshine and cooler temperatures.

Thanks for stopping by.

Some of the Supplies I used:
Stamps:  Winnie and Walter"Happiest Of Holidays"
Paints: Holbein
Inks: Distress Ink "Hickory Smoke", "Weathered Wood" and Ranger Archival
Card stock:  Arches, Papertrey Ink and Stampin' Up
Embellishments:  Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins, Pico Embellisher, Pearl Ex, Flower Soft, Ranger Distress Glitter
