A few cards to share today. When I sat down to make this one I started out in a completely different direction. My ideas weren't working I started to over think what I wanted to do and got stuck. I had to walk away and ended up taking a break and watching a bit of a online card class for some inspiration. I had a couple of goals when designing this card, I wanted to use the stamp set Natural Beauties(Papersmooches) and play along with the current Papersmooches challenge to use 4 colors. I got the idea of stamping the images randomly and watercoloring them from the Craftsy class taught by Mayuri.
I received the stamp set as a Christmas gift from my husband. Since it is new I am also able to enter this card in the Simon Says Stamp Something New Challenge.

This is really great! Isn't it funny how we get our minds set on a card idea and it morphs into something else? So lovely!
ReplyDeleteThe autumnal colours are lovely and the stitching works really well. I like the subtle sentiment which doesn't detract from the beautiful stamping.
