Watercolored Chums

Hello stopping in to share a card made with Papersmooches "Chilly Chums" stamp set.  I stamped the images using a water soluble ink in a light color (Distress Ink in Antique Linen) than colored the images using Inktense water color pencils blended with water.  I didn't originally intend to distress the edges of the image piece but while it was drying in my craft room my cat took a bite out of it (once I got over my frustration I cut off the worst of the torn edge and improvised).  I mounted the stamped piece on to the card using fun foam for some dimension.  I also did my favorite embelishment for these big eyed critters of adding glossy accents to the eyes.
I'm entering this card in a few challenges. The Papersmooches Sparks challenge theme is "Anything Goes".  Also Virginia's View Challenge "All Things Colored".  One more challenge I'm joining is the 30 Day Coloring Challenge being held by Kathy Racoosin.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. I love how you colored your chilly chums! The background is wonderful too, and yay for you for improvising when the cat ate your paper!
