I'm very excited to be sharing my first project for the Tag You're It Challenge! Mary Beth created a beautiful inspirational tag.

I loved the 3d look of MaryBeth's butterfly and wanted to do something similar. For my butterflies I used a Martha Stewart punch and some teal cardstock. I added some glitter to the punched butterflies (with Wink of Stella) than coated them with glossy accents. The tag was die cut with a Mama Elephant die from some water color cardstock. I used a teal ink pad to put some ink on a craft mat which I than spritzed with some water and smooshed the tag in it. The accent tag is die cut from some Crate Paper patterned paper. The sentiment stamp is from Paper Smooches. This is a great way to use some of my patterned paper stash! I hope you create something for the challenge.
Thanks for stopping by for a look.

ReplyDeleteKelly, what a lovely take on Marybeth's tag! The chevron background tag is eye-catching (and yes, an excellent way to use patterned paper) and your butterflies on their water-coloured background are soooo pretty! Inspired and inspiring!
