Lawnscaping June Blog Hop

Hello I'm excited to be part of the Lawnscaping June Blog Hop themed Coffee.  Please see the Lawnscaping Blog for all the information on the hop including sponsors and prizes.





I made a few different potential cards for the blog hop and got my families opinion on them, this one was their favorite.   For my card I used Lawn Fawn stamp sets Critters In the Forest and Love You a Latte.  I colored the stamped images with pencil crayons than blended and smoothed out the colors with Gamsol.  I fussy cut the images and added a few things to them for some interest and texture.  The mug I coated in glossy accents.  To the fox I added glaze jelly roll pen to his nose and a white dot of gel ink.  The mushrooms and dragon fly got a little Wink of Stella.  I painted some green Pico Embellisher onto the tree.  For the background panel I sponged on some Distress Inks before stamping on the sentiment.  All of the fussy cut images I glued on flat except for the mug which I adhered using some foam tape for some dimension.

    Perfectly done coloring and ink blending! Such a peaceful scene. Your card takes us to the forest where the fox is already waiting to treat us with a cup of coffee. I would definitely like to try it:) Nice piece of work with the great design.
