Under the Weather

I was digging around my stash of Studio Calico card kits yesterday and I came across one from last March that I never used.  I pulled out all the fun stuff in the kit but was stumped.  For some inspiration I looked at some blogs.  Yesterday's post on the Faber Castell blog features a project by DeeDee Catron.  DeeDee Catron did a technique with Gelatos that I wanted to try.  I used it to create the watery blue and grey background  on a piece of  water color card stock.  I first stamped the water colour card stock with rain drops and the sentiment.  After the piece was dry  I applied some glossy accents.  The layout of this card comes from the Deconstructed sketch.  I'm also linking this up with the NBUS challenge.
