Muffins

Made a card today for my husband for our anniversary.  While I was making it he wandered in my craft room to see what I was doing!  At least he thinks the muffins are cute.  I stamped the muffins from Lawn Fawn's stamp set "Love'n Breakfast" using versamark and embossed them in clear.  I coloured the muffins using distress markers than blended the colours with some water.  I masked the images with a heart dye cut from some masking paper before using a finger dauber to sponge on some ink.  after removing the mask  I added some jelly roll pen clear glitter to the heart and added glossy accents (I love the 3d sparkly affect this technique creates).   I'm entering this card in two challenges.  This card is mini(4" x 2 5/8"), I used the Lawn
Fawn stitched journaling die to create my card base so I can enter it in the Lawnscaping mini card challenge.  Also this is a one layer card so it is also eligible for the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge "Keep It Simple".
enjoy your weekend
