A few weeks a go Jill Foster put a video out for a gorgeous card she made with floral stamped images. I have been wanting to try some of the techniques she shared. I coloured a piece of watercolour card stock with gelatos blending them with my fingers and water, dabbed it a bit with paper towel to soften the colours a bit. When dry I stamped the Daffodil image (Wplus9 stamp) with waterproof dye ink and coloured around the image and the stems with watercolour pencils, blending them with water. The flowers I stamped again on a scrap of watercolour card stock and coloured them too with watercolour pencils blended with water. I fussy cut the flowers and adhered them to the stems before adding some Wink of Stella. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink stamped with Soft Granite Hero arts ink. I'm linking this card up with Virginia's View Challenge the current theme is water colouring. I like that this challenge blog includes some technique videos from various artists!
