Hearts and Dots Valentine

Its chilly here today but it is so nice that the sun is shining after some really gloomy damp days.  Playing along with the Lawnscaping challenge "Dots & Hearts".  Have to admit I thought it was just hearts I forgot about the dots so went back and added some using a dot from the "Gnome Sweet Gnome" stamp set and also a gel pen.  I die cut some hearts using Lawn Fawn lawn cuts from a piece of acetate to create a stencil.  I used the heart stencil to create the background first with embossing paste than sponging cantaloupe ink.  I glued on some pink die cut hearts as well.  I stamped images from "Bee Mine" onto a white piece of card stock and colored the images with pencil crayons.  The heart for the flower is a die that I glued on.  I sponged ink around the edges than applied Wink of Stella and jelly roll pen to the flowers, bees and bee trail.  I coated the bees wings and the heart flower with some glossy accents. I had  fun trying some stenciling techniques with this card.
