It's been a couple weeks since I've made a card (feels like a long time to me), so I dedicated a lot of time to making one today. I am taking the Online Card Class "Chemistry 102" by Tim Holtz. Today he showed us some uses for Distress Glitter. I die cut the cupcake liners from patterned paper, added "Pumice Stone" Distress Ink to the edges, coated them with glossy accents than Rock Candy Distress Glitter. I also added Black Soot Distress Glitter to the center of some of the die cut flowers. To add some oomph to the sentiment I stamped it in black Versafine then clear embossed it. I had lots of fun making this card today!
The idea to use the cupcake die with bunches of flowers comes from this weeks Muse inspiration created by Therese Calvird. I am also entering this in the Simon Wednesday Challenge "Use a Rubber or Clear Stamp".
Thanks for stopping by,
Kelly
