Monochromatic Floral

I made this card for two challenges.  The layout and design comes from the current Muse Card Club inspiration a lovely card made by Marion Vagg
.

I also wanted to play along with the Lawnscaping challenge to make a card using monochromatic colours.

Very overcast and gloomy here today it was hard to get a good picture of my card.  I wanted to use the floral patterned paper from the Studio Calico Snippets collection so I chose to use corals for my colour scheme.  I used two Lawn Fawn sets, "Flutter By" and "So Much to Say".  The flower and leaves were embossed and coated with dry Stickles- Rock Candy to add some sparkle.  I coloured the flower with a water colour pencil and added some more colour after the water colour dried using a copic marker.
Have a great weekend,
Kelly
