Fireflies

Hello,
This card I made for the current Lawnscaping challenge:

So for my card I added texture in a few ways.  First with the jar, I embossed it with pewter embossing powder, I sewed a die cut transparency sheet to the jar image to create a shaker which I filled with clear micro beads and fine yellow glitter.  The stars in my night sky are coated with glossy accents and I believe even the sponged ink for the night sky creates the look of depth and texture.  The yellow panel was dry embossed with wood grain.  Stamps and dies used for this card are from Lawn Fawn..

I put the sentiment on the inside, I embossed it in pewter and used a silver leafing pen on the edges of the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by,
Kelly

    1. Thanks Karin. And thanks for sharing how you create your night sky, I found your technique for making stars especially helpful. I don't have the same colors of distress inks so I had to improvise.
