Take Aim

Well I was aiming to make a one layered card today but I experienced something new for me - a defective stamp.  Serves me right I carefully tested each stamp for this card except for the last.   The sentiment was to be my last impression and I got excited and didn't test the stamp first.  The surface of the stamp is uneven and the "A" in word "Heart is lower and not cut out properly.  *So it now has more than one layer, I think I like it better this way it adds more color. I love the Delicata gold ink, very pretty. I'm thinking this is my last valentine card this year, getting tired of hearts.   The layout was inspired by this weeks challenge at http://casethissketch.blogspot.de/.
Thanks for stopping by,
Kelly
* quick update on this I emailed Mama Elephant regarding the defective stamp and am very impressed with their customer service
