His Lucky Day

o

I felt like having some fun today and trying out some products.  I started by masking of clouds, an arc for a rainbow and an area for some grass than sprayed the watercolor paper with ink misters and sponged on distress ink.  Then I removed the masks, and colored my rainbow with watercolor pencils.  I colored the leprechaun from Paper Smooches stamp set "A Magical Spring" with markers and copics.  I added some gold with a gold leafing pen and some stickles to his shamrock.  I drew the smooches on his face.  I clear embossed the pot on black cardstock and cut it out.  I had to improvise to create the sentiment.  I used some alphabet stamps for the "Kiss Me I'm" and masked of a sentiment stamp so I could isolate the word "Irish".  I roughed up the edges of the watercolor paper with a distressing tool and adhered it to a piece of black cardnstock which I glued to a white card.
I created this for the Paper Smooches Sparks challenge.  The current inspiration is this photo

Design Team card, by Savannah O'Gwynnthat I also took inspiration from.

Have a great day,
Kelly
