| Papertrey Ink's "All Booked Up" |
I made this card for the Papertrey Ink's 6th Anniversary challenge, http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/. I purchased Papertrey Ink products for the first time only a few weeks a go. A card that Maille Belles created caught my eye on Pinterest. I like how elegant her cards are. Even when she uses a complicated technique her cards are eye catching and not fussy. I didn't pick one specific style by Maille Belles rather I went for a more Clean and Simple design that I hope comes across as clean and simple.
I was impressed at the quality of Papertrey's stamps. This is the first time I used this set and it was simple to get a good impression with these stamps. I purchased this set because there are several avid readers in my family (including myself) and I knew I would get a lot of use of it.
On the image of the person reading I used heat and stick embossing powder then applied Rock Candy Distress Dry Glitter to the image. I embossed the image of the book and dry embossed the card base with polka dots.
Thanks for looking,
Kelly
