I am posting today about a few cards. The first one I was inspired by several things. I used some techniques I learned in the online card class. Today was a bonus class on ways to use die cutting for clean and simple cards. I liked how Kelly Rasmussen curved the sentiment to go around a circle. I was inspired by the colors used on the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge, www.papersmoochesstamps.com. I used the layout from the Deconstructed Sketch No. 86, http://deconstructingjen.com/deconstructed-sketch-no-86/.
I used Paper Smooches stamps from "Smoocheroos" and "Good Gab" sets.
The next 3 cards are homework for Online Card Class Day 5 in which we are shown creating different looks with the same stamp. I used 4 images from Stampin' Up's "Circle Circus" to create 3 different cards.
Then my last card is from Online Card Class Day 4 Inspired by Kristina Werner's example. I really like the look of the card just had a problem with my heat gun blew a little bit of the embossing powder around.
hi Kelly :) your cards are gorgeous!!! can I ask which brand of embossing powder you used? :) :)
ReplyDeleteHi Marlou. I used Judi Kins Opaque White embossing powder, I have had it for so long I don't know if its still available. Im almost all out so I ordered some made by Hero Arts to try next.
