Birthday Tag

Hello!  So where I live the schools have been closed.  Social distancing is recommended and most things are closed to the public.  I am at home and so are my four kids so I don't actually have a lot of free time.  I created a quick tag to share with you for the current A Blog Named Hero Challenge.

I blended Distress Oxide Inks on a diecut tag using a make up brush.  I then spattered it with water and dabbed of the water to make some splotches.  Once the tag was dry (I used a heat tool to dry it)  I embossed the sentiment and the confetti (Hero Arts Cheeky Birthday Set).  I felt the tag needed something so I used a stencil (Starry Nights Stencil) and some water to remove some ink.  Before removing the stencil I sprayed the tag with some glimmer spray.

Thanks for stopping by.  Hope to see your projects at the current challenge.

Merry Christmas Tag

Quickly sharing a tag for the challenge held by Tracey McNeely.

My tag was inspired by Joyce's cute Tag on Day 3.  For my tag I used stamps and patterned paper from Lawn Fawn.
Thank you for coming by.

Noel Tag

More tags for me to share for Tracey McNeely's "25 Tags of Christmas".

On Day 10 the fantastic Canadian company, Studio Katia is the guest.

I was inspired by Tracy Freeman's beautiful watercolored tag.  For my tags I stamped the poinsettias (stamps from Studio Katia) and heat embossed with a gold glitter powder.  I watercolored using Distress Oxide inks.  When the tags were dry I added some detail to the poinsettias using pencil crayons.  The center of the flowers were coated with clear Nuvo Drops.  Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope to have time to make some more tags for this inspiring challenge.

Me To You

Tags to share today for Christmas and inspired by Tracey McNeely's "25 Days of Christmas Tags".

The first Design Team I was on was for Tracey's "Tag You're It!" challenge.  I loved being on that team. These tags were inspired by Jessica Frost Ballas on Day 3.  I made mine very similar to hers.  For my tags I blended two shades of Distress Oxide Ink.  I splattered with some water, dabbed off the water with paper towels to create the splotches.  I then heat embossed the trees with Wow "Snow" embossing powder.  The crystals are from Studio Katia and the stamps are from Concord and Ninth.  I love the font of the sentiments.

Celebrate the Season

(the Altnew product links are affiliate links, meaning at no additional cost to you, I will earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase)

The technique used for these tags comes from Sara Naumann's "Magical Marker Techniques" course through Altenew Academy.  I did the technique a little differently then Sara as I don't have Altenew markers.  I scribbled a dark red Copic marker on my craft mat and added some Copic Colorless blender fluid on the red ink which created a small puddle.  I ran my brayer through the puddle then rolled the ink onto diecut tags.  I used the same method to apply the green ink.  The ink dries very quickly.  I splattered the tags with gold alcohol ink.  Then I stamped the sentiments (Altenew Stamps "Halftone Holiday Stamp Set") with black Versafine ink then heat embossed in clear.

I was inspired by Tracey McNeely's "25 Days Of Christmas Tags".  On Day 2 Altenew products are featured and Kymona Tracey's tags inspired my design.  I am also sharing these tags at the Altenew November challenge.
