Silent Night Tag

Hello!  I am so happy to be part of Tracey's Christmas 25 Days Of Christmas Tags as our 100th Challenge at Tag You're It!

For my tag I used stamps from Hello Bluebird.  I stamped the fox and star and used pencil crayons to color them in.  I adhered torn card stock along the bottom of the tag and added a hint of sparkle to the snow with a gel pen.  I also colored the star with the gel pen then coated it with Clear Nuvo drops.  The final embellishment was some white gems from Studio Katia.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you are enjoying Tracey's challenge.

Hello Flamingo Tag

Hello!  I'm a bit late joining the current challenge at Tag You're It!  Life was crazy this past week with back to school and Birthdays.

Fun and colorful inspiration photo for this challenge.  I used Nuvo Pearl powders on watercolor paper to make the background.  I sprinkled several colors of powder on the paper and spritzed with water.  After it dried I die cut the tag, this helped flatten the warping the water caused in the paper.  On a separate piece of card stock I stamped and colored the bird (Hello Bluebird Stamps) with Copic markers.  I stamped the bird on the tag.  I fussy cut the bird except for it's legs then adhered it on top of the stamped image on the tag.

Thanks for stopping by I look forward to seeing your work at Tag You're It!

Flamingo Birthday

Hello.  Today I'm sharing a colorful card made with stamps from Hello Bluebird's set "Silly Birds".  I was in the mood to make a colourful card and felt this fun "Silly Birds" stamp set was perfect.  I heat embossed the flamingos on watercolour paper by stamping with black Versafine ink and clear embossing powder.  I then watercolored the birds and background.  I heat embossed the sentiment on a diecut circle.  I added a strip of washi tape to the side and adhered everything to a card base.  I finished off the card with some shiny white embellishments and black Nuvo Drops.

My card layout was inspired by the challenge at Case This Sketch.

Also I'm sharing this card at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "Anything Goes".

Thank you for stopping by.
